Arabesques are thought to be a symbol of longevity and prosperity. This exotic pattern was inspired by old textiles, that were imported into Japan roughly 500 years ago during the Muromachi and Edo periods.

Miki dyeing factory
Established in 1983, this kimono maker originally produced kimonos made entirely by hand. Now they use a variety of methods to make kimono by incorporating traditional techniques with more modern formats. They often collaborate with other professional kimono makers to provide customers with the best selection possible. They are known for their ability to cater to a large range of tastes, from budget to expensive kimonos, and from simple to luxurious styles.
